Hey! I am looking at the map and seeing zones like Hyjal for level 80-90? Is that some addon doing this, and if so, how do I get the addon to show the level ranges for other zones on the map? (Or is there another addon for this?)
Also, when the expansion launches, how will we get to Deepholm? Can you just fly there somehow like Vashjir? And can you start in cata zones at level 78 like you could with wrath zones at 68, or is 80 hard required?
If the level suggestions are not in the map without any adons, it’s a bug. It was one of the many hand-holding things added with Cata.
Yes you can go to all Cata zones whenever you like. I did so after OG Cata launch. I did not like the “take me there” Quests, and skipped them all on my alts … but paint me pink if I remember how I went to Deepholm; Maybe I just swam, died and rezzed there? At least I swam to Vash’jir.
There’s a short questline in Stormwind/Orgrimmar that end up porting you to Deepholm. Those are attainable at level 82.
80 is hard required to start Cataclysm quests.
