So my cat gets on my keyboard and literally takes it over. I imagine some of you out there can relate to this and before I can get her off she spams the ‘say’ channel. Another player gets highly annoyed by the spam and reports me. I’ve done everything I can to be polite to random strangers in the game but surely Blizz is not going to take my account away due to this. Kinda miffed at the person for just being rude and automatically assuming I was annoying him/her. I love playing Wow but if it was between my cat and Wow, the game would have to go.

Well same thing happened to me with facebook, my account is temporarily blocked because my cat posted on facebook for me and ironically it was a page about pets lmao.

I should have been clearer I can’t post on pages other than my friends, I still have my facebook. The cat that does it is tiny and he thinks it’s a game I have a small spray bottle I spritz him with a little water and he runs off and comes right back. So it doesn’t help he just thinks its a game and I end up holding him and playing Wow with him in my arms lol.

I can relate to my cat jumping on my keyboard or walking on it however i usually get him off pretty quickly so he doesn’t spam anything in chat.
He does however sits next to my mouse and viciously attacks my hand if I try to move the mouse. Like he gets really upset as if I tried murdering him. This is a problem when I’m in a dungeon or trying to fight something. It is difficult fighting off mobs while fighting off the cat irl.

Ugh yeah the spray bottle never works for cats like it does with dogs. All i end up with is a wet cat that is still doing the same annoying thing.

lol that’s a gif but my cat does look like that. He actually is such an attention hog he sleeps right up under my chin at night and is with me all the time.
that is a talented cat to be able to hit the / and then the s so they can spam the say channel.

Assuming this was a one time thing and nothing offensive was said, you won’t get in trouble. Certainly not to the level of losing your account. The penalty for a first offense of spamming or mild chat issues, is a 24 hour Silence. Not a big deal even if it does happen.
Now, if your cat made real life threats, harassed people, used really horrible hateful language, was selling gold, etc. That could cause bigger issues. Pretty sure a cat is not capable of that though.
I am very thankful my 3 stay off the keyboard. We did have a guild member DC from a raid once because his cat unplugged the router. We never let him live that down and even named our B Team “Cat unlpugged my router”. It was all done in good fun and he got a huge laugh out of it.

not kidding get a small box. put a lip on opening. throw ball that has lights on it when touched. Put where you set. Problem solved till that unholy terror gets bored again. so far not yet.
It’s not hard, I left my netflix open and somehow they changed my email and password. Thankfully i have it set up with my phone as backup so i was able to call and get it changed. The csr and I had a good chuckle. I can’t remember the domain they picked for the email but they did it, lmao. I never leave my browser up when I go to work any more.
