Has there ever been any feedback from Blizz regarding this? I mean it makes it unplayable, not to be dramatic but seriously, cat form used to have great sound effects but now it sounds like I’m ripping a piece of paper when I hit things. There’s no impact, no “oomph” to it. I mean is there even a mod or some kind of way to macro the old sound effects when I use my abilities. It’s horrible.

I do remember one post from back in BFA someone found a bandaid around the solution, though I’m not sure it’s a safe option with the ToS. From what I remember, it results in manipulating files.
I thought it was just them finding the sounds files from before the change and swapping them out? Is that against ToS?
Feral used to be my favourite back in Vanilla/TBC/Wrath. I main switched for a while and then came back to my Druid and now feral had all these scratchy sounds. Definitely agree with the OP. Not unplayable, but definitely unenjoyable!

Wait. do you mean Shred and Rake? Because I find that they are so faint I can hardly hear them. I keep thinking my headphones are broken but it’s only feral skills that do that.
The Brutal Slash sound is the only one I can’t personally stand. What even is that noise? lol
