Cat Druid dps.. lets talk

is cat druid viable and if so how does it compare to end game content if played right with the proper time investment?

It is, though the gear and skill gate is unusually high and it’s not good at swapping. We have a feral who regularly pulls 38-39k DPS, and we usually let him tunnel the boss when cleave or adds come up.

The stigma’s pretty bad though because it was kind of meme-worthy in 8.0. 8.1 gave enough buffs and high enough level gear/secondaries to make it shine much better, and in 8.2 that needed gear level is very casual-accessible.

Perfectly viable. Club Camel had a feral on their US 5th Azshara kill, and he was top of the meters too.

We do well in m+ even with less utility than boomies or rogues. Our aoe is strong and ST sustain is good, we don’t rely on burst windows. In raids we are fine, and stampeding roar can be pretty useful, especially for fights with a lot of running between things.

The worst thing about us is our stigma. We were bad in the first patch of BFA so people just think we’re a meme. But the more good kitties that people see, the more that stigma goes away.

If you want to play feral in EP you’ll need socketed benthic, but I think that goes for all classes. Try to get the weapon off the first boss and Ashvane and Orgazoa trinks.

I have no complaints aside from lacking passive cleave. I do well in all levels of content.

Why are crowds of people systemically stupid?
What works then worked then; what works now works NOW.

Feral works NOW.

It takes a long time to shift opinions. Should get there eventually. Unless blizzard blizz decides to speed it up and buff then to be over powered which I hope they do not do.
