When I first got the quest, I was doing 100 chitins per week. I never looked at it in the internet. I thought after the first 1500, I would get it. I was surprised the quest slapped me for 1000 more. So I continued my 100 per week goal. Then the last day of last week, I completed the 1000 venoms. So I got a brand new 500 quest at the start of the week. The final 500 are all elites. I don’t mind. I am at level 629.
Since I am almost done for Season 1 as any Crests from M+ wont do anything for me anymore unless I get a Mythic Track gear, I made 250 Nerubian Bloods on one sitting the other night and last night I did the final 250.
I find Siesbarg so big and he’s like heavy and slow… compared to Dornogal’s Bee mount which is small which I felt flies fast.
Yeah, I did the 1000 cinderpollens from Meaderbee mount this week too before finishing Siesbarg. I only got 1 Crackling Shard for the Bee massacre??? I need 9 more Bee massacres to get Alunira.
Then my wife scolded me when I shared my Siesbarg story… why are you wasting your time on stupid videogame? ROFL. I defended myself. I did it for one Season after playing my core game in WoW. It was fun. Anyway, GG.
I’m sitting at 803 mounts and am currently only on the 1500 part for seisbarg still. I have so much other stuff to go for I’m just holding off. That’s a long one for sure.
I don’t know why it isn’t warband wide like the one from Stone Vault is.
The Stone Vault mechsuit questline is completed by turning in 3 quests to collect 3 different trinkets from the various dungeons, since some of the trinket only drop for certain loot specs a warrior cannot get trinket from darkflame cleft as it only drops for healers for example so as a way to combat this blizzard made the quest line warband/account wide like pet battle quests are so you can turn in the quests on alts that are eligible for the trinkets to drop.
No reason the Siesberg quests need to be character specific.
Hopefully they increase the drop rates of the crackling shards. Wouldn’t be mad if they put the shards on the vendor for currency like Resonating crystals or Kej.
Also, I find it really odd you can still get the crackling shards after you get the mount. Not like you can sell the mount, so what’s the point of getting more unless they plan to change it in the future?
In fact, I just got the vile dropped, like, 2 days ago. It’s only the second time I’ve seen this rare. The first time everyone was as all eager about it, so we set up a group, added people, were ready to rock and roll and…we got sharded out and the mob vanished.
But I stumbled across him the other day, solo’d him (took 2 tries), and got the vial.
No idea what it was, just sitting in my bags, “figure out what it is later”. I figured it must be some mount thing, just wasn’t sure what.
I’ve just been ‘letting this happen’ and I’m at 1100/1500 on the first part. I’ll get there someday. I do wish the quest was shared across the account, but oh well…
I “wasted” 3.5 hours this weekend trying to get the starting item and never saw the rare at all. Not even over a 7 hour period running alts through the threads weekly. Wasn’t really wasted because I did the weekly and fished (47 slum sharks!). Sad part is I blew by the rare several times early in the season and now I want the mount. Probably have to wait and do this just before the end of the expac. But from now on I’ll keep an eye out for the rare and he’s dead if I see him again.
