I have always used the basic castsequence reset macro, but lately it doesn’t seem to work properly. I use:
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=20 Rapid Fire, Serpent Sting, Serpent Sting, Serpent Sting
This way I can just slap some DoTs on a few targets while my Rapid Fire is on it’s cooldown. Issue is, it’s not resetting at 20 seconds. It’s requiring I fire off all 3 of my Serpent Stings before it resets to Rapid Fire. Is the 20 second reset no longer working or is this a bug of some sort? Thanks for your time.

It’s not a reset every 20 seconds, it’s a reset after 20 seconds of not pressing the button again is what you should see.
Oh, well that would explain it. Is there way way to make it 20 seconds all told? As opposed to 20 seconds of using the macro?
It’s not very doable with the default Macro system. There’s an addon, Gnomish something something (can’t recall the name) that maybe will work. But it is very difficult to use from the time I tested it.
I am not the best with addons. I appreciate the feedback. I’ll just stagger it with Arcane Shot or something. Thanks for your time.
I did not know this, and thought I was gaming the system by cutting off a few seconds. lol
