Castsequence macro help or any alternative

Having difficulty to find the right command for this macro. this is what i have so far.

#showtooltip
/castsequence [@focus] Charge, Intercept
/castsequence [@focus] Battle Stance, Berserker Stance

My goal is to have a macro that will basically cast in a sequence with those listed spells but if I cast those spells without using the macro the macro will continue to sequence itself.
For example I use my normal charge keybind then my macro sequences to the next ability which is intercept. For some odd reason I had a memory that this worked for me really back then in wotlk days, I’m just trying to recreate the macro again if possible or any other alternatives.

I have no experience with classic Warriors, so I’m not sure how to put together what you are looking for, but hopefully I can at least move you in the right direction. I suspect that the macros you are remembering are stance dance macros, which use the stance:X or form:X conditional. (The stance and form conditionals do the same thing. The more modern usage is form, but stance still works and is what you’ll see in older macros.)

My google search shows Battle Stance is 1, Defensive Stance is 2, and Berserker Stance is 3.

For example, if you wanted to toggle between battle and berserker stance with a button:

/cast [form:1]Berserker Stance;[form:3]Battle Stance

If you’re in defensive stance, the above macro won’t do anything, but if you’re in Battle Stance (form:1) it will cast Berserker Stance, and if you’re in Berserker Stance (3) it will cast Battle Stance.

You can also use the stance conditional to tell it when to cast your other spells.

/cast [form:1]Charge; [form:3]Intercept

The above line will cast Charge if you’re in Battle Stance and Intercept in Berserker stance.

The other thing to add into the mix is that when you change stance, by default your main action bar will page to a new bar. (If you’re using an action bar mod, it may be set up differently.) This can also be used to control what spells you cast in which stance. So, when using the default setup, you can put Berserker stance on a button on the main action bar when in Battle Stance, and put Battle Stance on that same button when in Berserker stance. The effect will be that the button will effectively “toggle” between the two.

unfortunately you gauged completely off what I wanted to do, the process I want isn’t in need of that specific conditional [stance:1] (battle stance) etc. I’m looking for something that will more so trigger my macro that still continues to sequence the spell even though I didn’t press the macro.

My problem with my current macro is castsequence, because the macro is in need of pressing it again to sequence itself to the next ability in this case 2nd ability is intercept from the 1st and previous Charge. I want it to sequence by itself even though i didnt press the macro but press my different charge keybind. Not too sure if its possible but still worth a try to ask.

/castsequence [@focus] Charge, Intercept
/castsequence [@focus] Battle Stance, Berserker Stance

That’s considered automation. It isn’t possible with in-game tools and will get you banned if you try to do it with third-party methods.

Why would you even bring up/ mention the use of third party methods? No one is asking for the use of third party methods and its probably not even possible to make it work anyway. Elvenbane u got downs my boy

Just posting it as a PSA.
