as a hunter main for the last few expac’s, i have a macro i made with a few different commands in it. mostly to call off my pet, but i have a /stopcasting and /dismount in there to make it useful in other ways. it wasnt too hard for me to transition to that instead of moving to cancel a cast. its all about muscle memory though… if you’ve been canceling a cast the same way for 20 years, it would take some time to adjust.
