Obv arena is a diff environment, but I feel like I absolutely am a mm hunters nightmare.
Weâve faced a bunch of double mm in 2s as ret/ww, and regardless of who they open itâs bop and game over.
Donât think weâve lost to an mm hunter team this season.
Theyâre a nice person if you ever get a chance to talk to them.
Hunters can remove BOP. Iâd go with something else.
Sure, but bopping the opener of sniper shot into rapid fire immediately kills a ton of damage. Even if they tranq shot it they lost their best chance at an opening kill from stealth. Using globals to dispel and not do damage while we close distance is bad for them. Plus tranq bop and hereâs double freedom through the tar trap.
With ret/ww, our next move is pretty much disarm (ww) and I can sac him if they keep on him anyway.
In theory, you wonât BOP sniper shot because it will typically be coming in from off screen or camo. You could block some of that follow up damage, but rapid fire is on a short cooldown. If BOP doesnât get purged, it is susceptable to freezing trap as a back up and then you better hope you have trinket or it is forbearance time.
Advantage either way in this fight is highly dependent on how close the two are when the fight starts. Paladins are hard to fight when the fight starts with them on top of you already.
Iâm saying in 2s especially, boping the first big hits (sniper shot lands no matter what bc yes itâs out of stealth) massively throws off most mm hunters, especially double mm teams that plan to one shot someone and win.
Sometimes itâs just sac which does enough to slow down the damage anyway.
Weâve run into a decent handful of double mm teams around 18-1900 mmr and I donât think weâve lost one.
The bop is more just a slow down, then ww disarms one incaps other and thatâs pretty much it.
If they go me I just pop sov with battlemaster and thereâs a 650k shield.
Ah, Iâm thinking more of a 1v1 BG situation where the MM hunter starts at full range. Different fight entirely.

Thatâs why I was saying arena being a different venue and all. Some are tougher like tol viron arena being super big vs raven arena or bolarus being super small and definitely benefiting us.
In bgs I look out for mm, but yea Iâm sol if they open from far enough out lol.
And in bgs Iâm sov first lol. I pretty much save bop for friendlies
Yes. In the limited space of Arena, with many fewer teammates to peel for the MM, it is not unlikely that Melee will kill/interupt the damage of an MM. I LOVE BGB as MM because even if a Pally succeeds in killing me, it was made possible likely by both, my own bad positioning AND Divine shield. The paladin wont have DS for 4+ more min and the match isnt over because I died once. But I can âHuntâ a Pally who is suffering fron DS being on its long CD or Forbearance a whole lot in 4 min.
Looks like Iâm going to have to keep an eye out for you in future Blitz queues.

The main problem is every movement altering ability (Grips, knocks, etc) all also interrupt spells (When they shouldnât).
If they use DS too far away from you and it is an isolated fight then you can feign camo and wait for it to fall, reposition, then open up again with sniper shot from camo.
MM hunters that use all of their tools ainât no joke.
