BFD with casters is a liability. OOM 30s into a 3m fight is worthless. Mage healing is expensive and clunky. Locks OOM the healers trying to have mana to cast. Mages OOM, balance OOM, priest weak and oom. Something has to be done.

LOOK AT THE LOGS YOURSELF.
All you gotta do is take a look at the logs and see that every melee/hunter is out-dps’ing every caster.
Out of 145,773 parses…
- 74.2% melee/hunter
- 24.8% casters
The top 5 dps specs are melee. The only melee spec that is below ANY caster spec is Enhancement. Most casters are struggling to get in groups for a reason.
GTFOH if you’re blaming this disparity from over 145,000 parses on bad raid groups.

This is a lame and pointless justification for the situation and has nothing to do with anything.
Vanilla mana mechanics suck in general. They suck really badly at level 25. The gap is made worse by runes. We are going to be level 25 for 2 months. Blizzard should fix it.

OP is correct, casters suck in these long encounter raids. Imagine being a priest healer and, not only do you have no shot at 6th/7th bosses bc the group is mostly casters, but you also have to roll against these turds in the event cloth actually drops. No thanks. I’m sure other healers reached the same conclusion sooner, and more will reach it each week. I’m not spending 4 hours healing BFD to get more banal healers mages and wanna-be tank locks geared and then find out we can’t manage the 6th boss. 
Just because you’re comfy rerolling to whatever youtube tells you is this patches winner doesn’t mean its a good system

You’re comfortable letting the developers nerf everything until all the bars on Warcraft logs are “even” and the game has no soul and everyone does the same damage.

This is classic wow, you have to be willfully ignorant to not be aware that the game has, for 20 years, been melee biased.
When SoD is claiming to be trying new things, and letting classes/specs do their thing they weren’t allowed in Vanilla it is absolutely reasonable for players to expect maybe, just maybe this one time it wont be the Warrior show, but that’s what we’re getting

No raiders like you just don’t understand simple relativity. You play a top damage class and then think you’re outperforming people, when really you’re just performing where you should be for that class. You unironically believe that by playing the class that inherently does the most damage, that you are somehow performing in an impressive way. And you think this gives the game soul? lol. lmao. Some people have actual interests beyond deluding their fragile egos; they want to be able to play the class they actually like and do as well on it as they could on any other - hence they want balance. I’m afraid you can’t relate. The top performer of the highest DPS class isn’t any better than the top performer of the lowest DPS class - blizzard’s inability to balance their classes numbers shouldn’t determine which of the two players is more valuable. This concept eludes you.

The concept that eluded you was that bfd is a joke of a raid should be cleared in under an hour and everyone brought some casters

dont forget one of the bosses requires 3-4 interrupts on rotation. Another pro for not bringing casters
You don’t need to hit every interrupt, you just have to interrupt him to stop him chain casting.
You can do it with 2 interrupts on cd just fine
Instead of crying for nerfs please pay attention to the extremely easy content

The casters just want to cast their spells, anyone can see being able to cast 10 spells before being totally out of mana is bad

Depends on what spells you’re talking about… regen, mass regen and arcane missiles are all over 200 mana per cast. One of them is over 300 mana for a single cast.
Unironically this is the best way to say it.
If you guys are playing something that isn’t “meta” then you should not expect to be competing with the “meta” stuff.
Play what you enjoy and do what you can.
