I’m trying to use a cast sequence but it seems like when a spell turn into something else I have a problem
#showtooltip
/castsequence Voidblade, Voidblade, Vengeful Retreat
In a perfect world, it would cast Voidblade, then Hungering Slash (that’s what Voidblade turn into), then Vengeful Retreat. The problem is it casts Voidblade, then Hungering Slash then ends. If I do like Voidblade, Reap, then Retreat – it does Voidblade, Reap, Retreat, then Hungering Slash.
Any ideas as to whats going on?
Not sure why they did not fix it yet, but it seems to be a problem with the skill’s code. It is like the game recognizes that Hungering Slash is Voidblade but does not recognize that Voidblade is Hungering Slash. So, in a castsequence it treats Voidblade, Hungering Slash, …. as though you wrote Voidblade, Voidblade, …. . Basically, when Hungering Slash is used, the castsequence does not progress because you did not use Voidblade even though it is written in the castsequence as Hungering Slash. I figured this as the case when I used Voidblade, Voidblade, …. and it let me use Hungering slash but also did not progress because it was not Voidblade.
Ran into the same issue trying a similar macro with The Hunt. And have a void ray macro
/castsequence Void Ray, Eradicate
that works great the first time, then says skill not learned until i /reload.
