Not true because you do not have to buy BfA in order to play it
World of Warcraft Classic is coming summer 2019, and will be included in your #Warcraft subscription. pic.twitter.com/SVXRtsol75

By including it with subscriptions it is included in subscription, it affects subscribers numbers, so it does affect current retail, as there is not difference between a level 40 that buys a subscription and one that is level 120 as far as sub numbers go.
Wowhead is wrong `https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_of_Warcraft_Trading_Card_Game
It was released october 2006. This was in prepatch vanilla . You were able to see the draenei starting area from the nelf starting area, you’d get zoned if you went to it.
No it’s not.
2.x version is not a pre-patch for TBC, it is TBC. Meaning it’s not vanilla, meaning it’s not Classic, meaning that TGC loot was not in vanilla. You can’t spin it otherwise no matter what you say.
TBC did not launch till later. It was in the game while there was a level 60 level cap and BC was not accessible. We are just arguing semantics and opinion at that point.
2.0.x is TBC.
The fact that the dark portal event didn’t happen yet, doesn’t make it vanilla. Open the patch notes.
No. We argue that you don’t accept objective and verifiable reality.
So when the beta for BC starts, that is where you draw the line on Vanilla?
Yeah sorry, if you dont have it installed and it wasnt possible to install TBC, it was still vanilla. TBC was not released till the following january. TBC did not officially launch till the 16th, so the 15th of january was vanilla regardless of client version.
How did you edit this twice and both times miss “mine”?
i deleted and then thought better, because I don’t believe in censoring myself. I’d rather look bad than fake being a tool.
The physical cards were released during vanilla.
The loot cards could not be redeemed during vanilla as the redemption NPC and in game items were not added until Jan. 9, 2007 when TBC was released.
Vanilla with lvl 70 talents, revamped honor system, arenas (albeit without the ladder yet)? Are you sure?
TBC was released the following week, the 16th.
Again, it was prepatch. Vanilla did not end till TBC began. TBC began january 16th.
Once again, you show your lack of knowledge.
I suggest you google Burning Crusade release date.
Are you going to tell us that every one of those sites is “wrong”?
Again. Pre-patch with lvl 70 talents, arenas and the rest of the TBC changes. It’s not a vanilla patch. I mean really. Do you even realize that you argue against the objective reality. The patch that was released on the 6th of December 2006 was TBC.
In fact, 2.0.1 was the version shipped with the CDs\DVD boxes of TBC while 2.0.0 was never installed as is and served only as a pre-download version.

Says January 16th 2007. Are you saying google, wikipedia, wowhead and all these sites that show that date are some how showing another date?
Notice the date?
Obviously, there is a conflict between those dates.
If I am incorrect, then I will apologize and concede the point regarding release dates.
That does not, however, negate the fact that regardless of the actual release date, the redemption NPC and actual in game items were not added until TBC was released.
