Anyone notice since the patch a rash of materials disappearing from the reagent bag, only to return a day or two later? I keep all my mats organized a specific way, so I notice the “holes” in the bag when it happens. Usually they come back a day later (I’ve been very careful to leave those holes to see), though sometimes it is a couple of days?
I think it may be related to crafting orders and maybe resourcefulness procs, but I don’t have enough data yet to confirm it.
I have not, but then again I don’t pay attention to the exact amount of reagents I have.
I know when crafting it does seem to “bug out” sometimes, like this morning when I did a patron order for a flask and it said “please try again later” even though the craft did go through and I did get my KP from the mail so…yea lol.
Yes, I’m getting this. Then some days later, it all reappears. I thought it was an addon, it’s not.
Just as a followup. It’s still happening but I have been paying better attention. It does seem to happen after I have a resourcefulness proc on that material from a patron order (haven’t tested on non patron orders). It doesn’t happen all the time but occasionally happens often enough to notice (especially when either all my gem dust on my JC or all my stormdust on my Ench disappears).
I’ve tried moving the materials that get resourcefulness procs to different slots of my reagent bag and so far I’ve not had them disappear after this (but I don’t know if that is luck or actually a mitigation). I’ve also noticed that sometimes the materials don’t show back up for days but often if I have another resourcefulness proc on that same material into the same slot of the reagent bag, the lost materials often come back after logout/login (again, don’t know if this is just luck or related).
Interesting. I’ll have to pay attention to resourcefulness procs. My alt just did their patron orders and then logged out, upon logging back in on that toon later on they were missing a few mats.
I’ve had other characters have stuff go missing from their reagent bags as well from time to time and eventually the stuff shows back up along with a reshuffling of my reagent bag.
Still happening as of today. ZERO acknowledgement from Blizzard about this along with the UI/action bar issue, disappearing reputations and chain awarding of titles every time you log on any character.
How far this company has fallen… 
i’m almost certain that it’s related to resourcefulness procs somehow. those are the vast majority of procs for me, and although it’s not a 100% chance that the saved reagent from the proc turns up missing from my bags, it’s never a reagent that wasn’t part of the proc i.e. tailoring reagents missing after a JC proc, etc. c’mon blizzard, at least acknowledge the problem. it is DEFINITELY a problem and isn’t too hard to replicate
It’s as annoying as the Timecrashers and/or The Originals quest that keep popping up in Tanaris. No no no. I don’t need to see it again. Doomwalker going to kill me… ohh… never mind…
Did you turn off your addons and find out it is still an issue?
I can’t speak for Jaduen, but on my end, I’ve tried it on a fresh install with no addons and it still happens. Also tried resetting the interface (not reloading, but the full UI reset per the article). It seems to happen regardless of addons for me.

This is still happening and seems to have gotten worse. Most of the time it’s when doing patron orders and resourcefulness procs but not always. And USUALLY the items come back after a certain amount of time. My scribe’s stack of the vendor item was not coming back, only when I bought more of it did it FINALLY give back what I had originally.
I’ve had stuff disappear when I put them on the auction house. Specifically the Apprentice’s Crafting License and Stack of Pentagold items. I only put a few up from each stack and the rest disappeared. They eventually reappeared just like the other missing reagents.
So oddly, this has been a problem since at least Dragonflight (I reported it back then). I don’t use an AH addon, so in order to compete selling alloys, I would make a bunch, break them up into smaller / cheaper deposit stacks, then list a couple stacks at a time. If 50 people immediately relist, I would put a couple of new stacks on and then cancel the old ones.
While doing this, I noticed a similar issue if I logged off with some stacks still in my bags that I didn’t get around to listing yet.
