SV’s aoe already feels weird enough, Carve should not have a CD and while we are at it carve should apply Serpent sting to all targets hit when talented into hydras bite instead of SS just spreading to two extra targets. This wasn’t a problem in legion and it won’t be an issue if they apply it again.
Yeah there’s a lot they could do with SV’s AOE. They could even make it like fury, where hitting Carve makes your next two attacks also hit “X” other targets. So Ideally, you’d hit Carve, then use mongoose bite.
Or Carve could modify our abilities if we hit say 3 or more targets. Making our bomb hit for 200% more dmg (just a random number don’t flame me) which would also increase the dot damage. Who knows, the World of Warcraft is Blizzard’s oyster, and they could do anything…
I’m not sure i want to see SV play more like a warrior but I’d love to see it get back some nice serpent spread.
All i’m saying is that there is plenty that Blizzard could do to help out SV’s AOE. I just don’t understand why it takes them sooooooooo long to make any changes in this game. They can clearly see trends, but don’t act upon them?
Literally just make our bombs interact with our tar trap.

There are a ton of things they could do but are too lazy to even bother with:
- no cd carve
- carve spread serpent sting
- wildfire ignite tar trap
- baseline wildfire infusion
- wildfire infusion gives you three different grenades with a shared CD instead of random effects
- give SV beast cleave activated by carve
sv hunter already has so many buttons to keybind and more abilities coming back in shadowlands that you’ll have to bind… making wildfire infusion give you THREE DIFFERENT BUTTONS? no thank you I don’t wana have to buy a 9 button mouse lmao xD
