I am here to point out that people carrying in 2v2 are deflating the ratings. Maybe there is some match making based solution or something.

yep queued into another glad today and arena master at 1600mmr and i already quit queuing the game just isnt even fun im trying to push rating but im queing into gods im just done lol

Yea rating is bizarre right now.
Would be trying not to get memed on 1 match by players that back pedal and press everything in 2 seconds to playing a real match up against a team that ride in on current season glad mounts @ 1800
They need to do something to prevent “smurfing” or carries, like 2.1+ players can’t queue into 1600bracket

It’s crazy to me this is such a “legitimate” issue worth ten threads a day. I’m still really convinced it’s an easy way to point the finger and avoid admitting ur own mistakes + seems more obvious with acc wide titles

Doesn’t seem weird to me. The vast, vast, vast, vast majority of pvp players are low rated casuals. low rated becomes plagued with the 3% and above. Game becomes unplayable for them.
I tried queueing this rogue earlier in the week with 22k health, it wasn’t unplayable but my partner quit in under 50 games. Rogue shadowpriest games, both of us @ 150 ilvl. We could win but we had to play better than I’m used to in placement & starter games. Very much a “one mistake and you’re dead” meta, even in triple digit mmr. But that’s very much due to my priest and I having 1-2 gcds worth of health. lol.

why do you think account wide titles somehow takes away r1/glad experience and game knowledge giving a massive advantage? you say this like a gladiator isn’t a gladiator just because they are playing an alt, a lot of the people complaining about queueing into these players including myself don’t have nearly the amount of insight/philosophy into the game as they do

I think its just cause priest rogue is lame right now and healer monks suck so thats 2 healers gone less players quing less people to que into and to take up higher ladder spots.
I for example have been top 100 in 2v2 at some stage of the season every season since season 2 WOD I have no rogues ferals or WW players that wanna push and thats usually what i play with so yeah enjoy ur low rated games vs rank 1s and Holy pally/double dps players cause thats what you got now.

There is a massive skill disparity between 2400 and 2800, but they are all labeled gladiators.
And most gladiators I see struggle to stay above 2.4 consistently.
I don’t know how you stop someone from playing in a bracket below them. Just because they are X rating in one bracket doesn’t mean they are capable of the same rating in another (though it’s highly correlated).
