I feel this should be an obvious profession to add for DF. Staves, wands, shields, caster off hands, and fishing rods with special stats can be made by carpenters.

And why they are at it, throw in player housing. The same profession can be used to create furniture and upgrades!
A second profession for gathering can be Harvesting. Chop all the trees like in WoD!

Are they adding player house? Because carpentry/felling is definitely needed!
Not that I am aware of. I just mentioned it in another thread that I’ve been waiting since the beta for housing, so it was on my mind. It hasn’t come yet, and it’s been what, 19 years?
My suggestion: the next expansion is called Homecoming. Introduce housing, the professions, and possibly cross-faction gameplay.
