Hello and thanks for taking the time to hopefully help. I have a super built PC with dual monitor setup that ive been using since brand new 8 months ago. I have never had this problem up until 2-3 weeks ago. Whenever I log in to WoW all is well but after a while (maybe 15 minutes or so) my Caps lock button gets reversed and when it shows on it will type in lowercase and when showing off it will type in all caps. The only thing I have found to fix this temporarily is i just have to click my mouse on my second monitor and it fixes it for a while then it starts again. Heres a couple of things to note:
- Nothing on my end has changed since this problem has started, no new hardware, software, no new addons…just updating the game and what addons I always have.
- Yes, I did disable my addons and its still happening.
- Caps lock is my push to talk button for Discord. I cleaned my keyboard thinkng maybe its getting stuck, and even changed out the keyboard just to see if a different one would fix this. None of this helped the issue.
- I did check to make sure sticky or toggle keys arent on.
- I did try pressing Ctrl+Shift+Caps Lock. Did nothing.
- Windows is fully update.
- This only happens in WoW.
- Unsure if related but I also have 3 action bar buttons bound to my mouse. I noticed since this problem has started I have logged in and 4 times in 2-3 weeks my mouse buttons have reset and had to be bound again. Mouse drivers are up to date.
Any thoughts?
