I\ve been playing the game fine all week but now i am at “82%” downloaded on a clean install since i couldnt recover WoW at all from my old PC and all i had to do was pause the download update and i could then use “play” to launch WoW. However, for some reason after todays service that isnt happening and the " play" button appears but wont work. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Have you tried hitting the gear icon and going to “scan and repair” ? It may take some time but it should find the files that are not working.
Apparently it was the latest update that wouldnt allow me to log in and deactivated the " Play" button, after about 30 mins of downloading i was able to get back in ,even though i am still on 82% with 18% left to go to have a total reinstall since i lost ALL of WoW when my old pc expired .Re=downloading a 100gig+ sized Game online rather from discs has not been an experience i wish to repeat any time soon.Oh well at leasti can play now and am down to the last 18%
