After the Shadowlands release, I noticed I had to learn again some patterns for Tailoring that I had already learned, especially Draenor ones. I also noticed that the recipes for the essences to upgrade the crafted items to stage 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 ([Recipe: Hexweave Essence], [Recipe: Mighty Hexweave Essence] and [Recipe: Savage Hexweave Essence]) were also missing from my Tailoring profession window.
Draenor NPC Tailoring vendors still sell [Recipe: Hexweave Essence], but when trying to use the item, there is an error message: “The spell is not available for you”, and the Hexweave Essence item itself is grey now, meaning it is useless since Shadowlands.
I’m guessing this is a bug related to Shadowlands’ level squish. The problem is that not only the gear with appropriate item level is missing, but more importantly, the transmog appearance for this set Stage 2 and Stages 3, 4, 5 and 6 cannot be obtained anymore.
I also checked Blacksmithing and I found the same problem with the items related ([Truesteel Battleplate]), so it’s probably the same for Leatherworking as well.
I checked Wowhead and many people noticed the missing recipes, but no one is talking about the missing transmog appearances. Please fix this soon so we can have all those Draenor profession crafted sets and recolors!
