Can't update/run classic

Hello,

Having an issue where I cannot install wow classic update, it says an internal error occured. Attempted to run scan and repair tool and get the message I cant do that while warcraft is running (which it is not in any form). Retail works fine but this has been going on for awhile and tried everything on my end to fix it.

Does everything include rebooting?

Yep but I think I found the issue, had a couple out of date drivers, was finally able to run the scan and repair tool after that and back in business.
