Cant update/ now new msg

I’m trying to update today, 11/23/21 on a Mac. I get the BLZBNTAGT00000BB8 box. And also when I try to scan/repair, it stops and same box.

I’m using Catalina, 21.5-inch 4K 2019
3.2 GHZ 6-core Intel Core i7

I reinstalled Battle.net; removed the “indices” folder from Data folder. It updated, but when I try to launch the game I get:
The CAS system was unable to initialize: ClientHandler: initialization error: failed to create storage component

ClientHandler: initialization error: failed to create storage component

ClientHandler: initialization error: failed to create storage component

tact::ClientHandler::Create failed: E_STORAGE_INIT

Same. I only play TBCC, but I went to update Retail while playing TBCC and couldn’t update. I figure oh well and quit TBCC to try to update Retail again. Still couldn’t update, so I figured oh well and attempted to go back into TBCC, but now I can’t even launch the game. I have tried restarting. It prompts me to update TBCC, but I get this same BLZBNTAGT00000BB8 box and can’t even launch/play the game at all now. Grr…

Same problem with Monterey.

Can’t update, can’t repair, and no way i will reinstall this monster.
On the other hand, i was looking for a definitive excuse to quit this flaming trainwreck.

This literally corrupts the install beyond readability. You need to delete entire data folder and repair at this point. Everything in it is useless without indices. That’s not what caused your original error mind you, not sure about that one, but you definitely damaged data beyond repair and made it worse.

Been having the same problems as well, though only with retail WoW, and sent a ticket. Was told to update my OS since I had a earlier Mac OS but I reminded him that even people with Big Sur and Monterey are having the problem and am waiting a responce. It’s been almost a week now with no fix. I also think even some windows users were having a similar problem. I didn’t remove the indices folder but still getting the same errors, as well as getting the errors when I did a reinstall.

I delete every thing including curseforge. And did a clean install seem to work.
Will up date once it fully loaded but i could log in to the game after 10%
Did it per customer support in the email.

• At this stage, you will want to attempt an uninstall and reinstall of your WoW software because it’s looking like something is going on with your files that the scan and repair couldn’t fix. Depending on how it is installed on your system, please follow the directions below:

If you have any addon downloaders, your game may not fully uninstall. Please remove Curse Client or WoW Matrix before attempting to uninstall WoW.

Care to explain what their support told you? They told me to update the OS and I have done so and I am still having trouble. I also went and uninstalled battle net and WoW again before reinstalling it and WoW is still saying CAS system was unable to initialize. I am not getting the other error currently and it does seem that when I did a scan and repair it went through and gave me no error, but the game still will not load. It is though saying it is doing a pre-release download.
