you can leave the channels
that seems to work.
may be after a month, only the gold-farmers will be left so they can mas-ban?

That works temporarily until /reload or logging in/out. It’s not a fix.
I haven’t had any trouble fixing my channel settings, they just reset upon logging out. I had no trouble deleting Services with the red circle with the slash through it, and it stayed deleted. I have it on good authority Blizz is looking into this but no ETA.
Do you play many alts? Imagine having to reset the channel settings 15 times a day. I’m sure you have a source that’s looking into it. sure.
I made a macro with this:
/chatexit trade
/chatexit services
/chatexit lookingforgroup
run the macro and it seems to be working between logoff / logon.

Same. I think this may finally be the last straw. I love this game, but Trade Services makes it pretty impossible to do anything in town other than die of spam blindness. If you like that sort of thing, fine. I hate the bots way more than I like playing the game. It is on in windows that I purposely never turned it on in so that I don’t have to deal with it. And yes, it is too much to ask for me to turn it off in every single chat window on every single toon every single time I log in. Just acknowledge and fix it please.

only when mount farming, but for end game I only use 2
I can turn it off but the settings will “Not” save when I log off. So logging onto many different alts the Service and Trade channels will load again. On all tabs, even Combat log. Please fix. Thank you!

you need to hit the little x on the right hand side.
so far it has worked for me. those channels are no longer in my list, which is fine since I rarely, if ever, use
usually works until I log back in. On my DH the other day though, even when I did that, it wasnt going away. Even showing in the combat tab
said x’s are greyed out for me so can’t even do that, it’s at least nice to know this is a bug
As of now I think its a feature lol
This is still a problem. I can’t even turn it off, everything is greyed out.
