Can't turn in quest

Can’t turn in Heart of the Swarm. There’s no NPC to turn it in to.

I went back to the Vale like the comments said and then tried to find the NPC. She is nowhere to be found. No little ? appears on the map or mini map.

Give a few of the other suggestions from those comments a try too. Hopefully one of them will work.

If not, you’ll want to report it as a bug.

The NPC is simply not there. A GM will need to mark this complete or somehow allow for turn in. It stops quest progression.

So you tried the other suggestions that seem to work for those players?

If you want to put in a ticket you can, but there’s no guarantee a GM will be able to mark it complete for you. It will depend on if they’re allowed to for this particular quest.

Come on, dude. I know I can be a pain in the butt sometimes, but I obviously tried everything to make it work. I have a ticket in already. I’m gonna try relogging and check again after lunch. If that doesn’t work, maybe even a UI reset (ugh).

Okay…so what were you hoping for here? You came here and simply said it’s not working. No details at all other than a quest name. You didn’t explain anything at all that you tried (I didn’t suggest the UI Reset because I thought you’d already have done it) so it doesn’t leave much to do but ask you questions to figure out how to help. So that’s what I did. I tried to help out.

Since it’s a bug, you can edit the original post and switch the forum to the Bug report forums if you want to.

AFAIK, this is a bug caused by the phasing for 8.3, except that the phasing isn’t changed by talking to Zidormi like it should. The walls are stuck in BfA invasion phasing.

I don’t know of any workaround, though. Maybe a GM can get you past it.

Perhaps. I logged back in after lunch and still no NPC. I logged out again, including the launcher, and back in and now she’s there. Very strange.
