Can't Transmogrify Gear on One Character

I’ve been having a very strange issue since the update on this past Tuesday, April 23rd. My main character is unable to transmogrify any gear. The transmogrification vendor allows me to open the interface and select the gear I want to change the appearance of as well as the gear I want it to look like. When I hit the transmogrify button, the transmogrify sound goes off, but nothing changes, despite having plenty of gold for it. I’ve tried turning off all addons, renaming/moving the Config.wtf file from the World of Warcraft_retail_\WTF folder, ran /console cvar_default, as well as scanning and repairing World of Warcraft. My next step is to uninstall and reinstall clean, but I’m hesitant to do so because I don’t want to have to rearrange my UI for all my characters again.

Has anyone had an experience like this that they may have found a fix for this?

Which character is having the issue? Are they fully equipped in class appropriate armor? Are all the pieces you wish to use as an appearance also class appropriate?

Couple of things you could try is to do the transmog piece by piece OR you can take your equipped items and place them in Void Storage – that will strip them of any transmogged appearances. Then you can start fresh.

Sometimes when this happens its because you have an item thats not the proper armor type.

I’m having a similar issue in MOP Remix with 2 of the Pandaren cosmetic sets. They definitely need a little more quality control
