Lol another reset and this doesn’t work… we got no patch notes and this is still an issue. Do they even work on wow anymore?

A whole month has gone by with nothing offered from blizzard, from fixes to work around - not even an exchange of weapons.

The (community delivered) work around for weapons seems to work, now if we can only find one for shields and off-hands

Looks like Blizz is preparing us for BC Classic with this bug, since back then players ran around in clown suits which didn’t match at all.
I’ve been wearing a clown suit for a month now because of this bug, which forces me to use a weapon and shield which don’t match.
Though at least during BC the game was actually good, so we forgave looking like a literal clown. Meanwhile a month of this bug and I’m at the end of my patience. No blue posts or updates in this thread, and no GMs offering to swap your old bugged items for ones from your new covenant. For the past month when weekly maintenance ends, before I even check my vault I’m checking to see if this bug is fixed instead. That’s how frustrating this is.
When are we getting a fix or any news at all? I feel like a clown for even playing this game right now.
Also thank you do the actual legend who found a slight workaround with the enchant toggle, it’s not perfect but it’s miles better than nothing, which is what Blizz has given us so far. I’m genuinely glad that other players who still care for this game, came through with a fix in our time of need. Since it feels like the devs certainly don’t care.

Just switched covenants and have this issue. Work around listed doesn’t work for me

I am having the same issue and the workaround proposed here is not working for me either. I am stuck until blizz fixes this
