Can't Transmog my weapon and shield to different artifact appearances?

Is there a trick to getting this to work?

On my prot pally, I’m trying to transmog my shield to a specific appearance and my weapon to a different appearance (that is a prot weapon appearance). It just keeps forcing the two to be in sync.

I thought this was doable now? I’m trying to have the mage tower flail but have the Balance of Power shield.

Are you attempting to transmog from the individual weapon types? So you would need to look in the 1-handed swords listing for the Oathseeker Mage Tower appearance & then look in your Shields for the Balance of Power appearance of Truthguard.

Here is a screenshot of my Prot Pally using the PVP appearance of Oathseeker with the Hidden appearance of the Truthguard shield.

I must’ve been looking for the weapon under the artifact category.

Side note: 111g just to transmog the weapon. Yikes.

Glad to hear you got it to work how you wanted.

Yeah, those transmog fees can really add up when doing the Artifact appearances.

Im having a similar issue. Just got the hidden (purple) appereance for the truthguard, but is not showed in the transmog npc. It is showed in my orderhall but not in the xmog npc, is there something I’m missing? thanks for the help!

So you are not seeing the purple tint for Truthguard when you look at the Shields list while at the transmog NPC?

It should show like this:

My Paladin just received her hidden appearance on Prot (already had it for Holy/Ret). It didn’t show up at transmog until I logged out & back in to the game.
