Before we could click on a player’s name in chat and choose Target. That is now missing from the options, unless I am not seeing it.
Sounds like an addon’s functionality.
Its not an Addon issue. Turned off all addons to check. The option isn’t listed when a player’s name is clicked in chat.
You misunderstood what I was saying.
Clicking a name in the chat window and choosing “target” is not a core function of the game and was likely provided by an addon. Perhaps Blizzard disabled the addon’s ability to do that, or the addon is not up to date.
All of these are chat commands for targeting:
/target <player name>/tar <player name>%tar
