Hello,
I was looking on WoWHead’s guide on where the Verdant kid’s spawn, I found a few but I am unable to pet battle them, its rather frustrating. It says they are able to be captured in the pet journal, any one know of the fix or if there is one?

Without looking too deep, I gave the comments a quick look and noticed “phasing issues”. Someone did say they were able to battle it as a secondary, which means you could just battle any critter in that area and it may be a backup pet in the lineup of 3. Just knock out the first one, and work on taming the kit.

What pets around the area have had the Kit in rotation? Thats a lot of pet battles D;
Kill them until new ones spawn that you can battle.
I have tried that already… D; But I guess it doesnt hurt to try agian.
Yeah you’ve got to be running into a phasing bug or something because I got my Verdant Kit from capturing and it was through selecting an actual verdant kit rather than any other pet.
Well … How do I fix it?
You got some quest in that zone, or quests you haven’t done that is phasing you.
I can’t find a single instance of someone finding a Verdant Kit as a main pet in a battle.
There are (albeit very rarely) pets that can only be found as backline pets. This is probably one of them.
I just found one, It was in a very hard place to find, that I was able to pet battle it. I found mine just outside the Garden of Night.
Add your info to the wowhead page for others looking. 
I caught all the wild pets while leveling, so I genuinely don’t remember where I found em. Lol.
Keep fighting pets until you see it in the other 2 spots.
