Killed the first boss and got the mushroom of its head. Did not sit at the camp fire, but did talk to the pink elephant (only the delve option). After that, I could target Brann, but there was no option to chat with him.

Experiencing the same thing on Hyjal. =\
Talk to “Magni” first. I went out and back in and this resolved it.

You have to kill the first boss within the yellow area on the minimap, if you’re outside of it when you loot the mushroom it drops, Brann/Magni won’t have a talk option.

thanks for solving the bug for us since they couldnt do this in beta
Just a warning - doing this resets the Delve and forces you to re-kill the first boss, though this may be the only work-around for this bug at the moment. Lesson learned? Kill the guy in his normal spot…

Killing him in his normal spot does not fix this fing thing… Did this twice asnd still bugged. I think he is breaking it due to his camp fire or something dumb.

This is still bugged, killing the boss inside the area outside the area doesn’t matter.
I’ve had to reset this delve several times in hopes of it working, sometimes Brann doesn’t even change appearance.

I had this problem, I guess it was because I talked to Alekk before talking to Brann. I drowned myself hoping I would be able to talk to him after respawn, didn’t work.
I just experienced this. I killed the boss, activated the mushroom, talked to Alekk the elephant, then went and fished at a nearby fishing hole. I think that because Brann/Magni reacted to the fishing hole by throwing me a fish, I lost the ability to interact with him. I had to leave the delve and start over. The second time, I spoke to Brann/Magni immediately once I was able to and finished the delve with no further problems.
Just ran into this too, second time ever doing a delve, just hearthed out and no intentions of doing one again, what lackluster content
There’s no fixing this bug on your own. I’ve tried everything.
