No matter what value I choose for the slider, I’m stuck with the maximum screen resolution and extremely low frame rate on my old iMac.
Anyone else? Any suggestions?
I just tried to change the resolution on my 2020 iMac and even though the number in the menu changes, the actual resolution doesn’t in game. Seems to be some kind of bug.
Is your FPS miserably bad? I just made a separate post but the game is running terribly on my MBP 16in - usually holds 60fps fine - now its barely doing 20.
Yeah, really bad compared to yesterday on 9.1.
I’ve tried setting the “graphics” down to 3 or 4 - and its still barely holding 30fps - usually more like 20 - my computers fan is going crazy and the whole computer is lagging while WOW is running.

now that game supports Fidelity Super resolution, it’s probably better to use native resolution, but lower render scale to like 50% (or higher or lower, adjust til performance is good) but then also go into advance and change resampling to fidellity super resolution. this is AMD version of nvidia DLSS, it allows you to run that high native resolution at the performance cost of the render resolution without the game being blurry. best of both worlds.
Give that a try and you should hopefully have great performance and the most crisp image quality you’ve ever had.
