I appreciate the info. It hasn’t been much of an issue for me since reloading the UI has worked, but I could see it being a much bigger frustration like for the other player in the thread that kept losing during reloads. EDIT: I don’t know why it posted as my toon Astoles last time and this toon this time. x_x
I like how some people here continue to say it’s an addon issue when a few people still have the issue when they turn off the addons, or someone like me who has the issue on a clean install of WoW with NO addons at all.

Because its literally replicable by installing an addon.
And you ignored the fact that I have a clean install, no addons. I left out that I also ran /console cvar_default when firing up the clean install. So, it’s literally replicable by not using any addons on a basically clean install of WoW. Any time I have an issue in WoW, this is the first thing I do (if the addon doesn’t produce any errors) before reporting it on here because I know that’s the first thing Bliz is going to ask me to do.

Is this happening with player vs player pet battle? You have a timer which limit how long you have to reload and swap pet. With wild pet and NPC pet battlers, there’s no time limit, you shouldn’t be losing the battle by reloading
You can reload ui and it will show you the pets to select… its the only thing that works for now
except for the actual fix of disabling the problematic addon
