Can't swap weapons on prepatch PTR during combat

Posted on the PTR forum as well, not sure if it’s intended or not but you cannot swap to 1h/shield from 2h or DW as fury or vice versa while in combat.

Hopefully this is just a bug and they fix it because it seems like it makes Shield Block/Shield Slam a bit redundant. Nobody is going to walk into an arena match wearing a sword and board.

I’d imagine it’s the same story on beta, but I don’t have access to the beta.

I know it doesn’t make much difference in PvE because even with a sword and board and shield block it’s not going to turn you into an automatic tank. But I think it’d make some difference in PvP.

It’s just for corrupted weapons. Even if PTR disables corruption.

I can’t swap my corrupted Devastations hour but I can swap corrupted Getti’ku.

I can confirm that on beta this works fine. I would be very upset if it didn’t as a warrior who needs to switch to a shield.
