Cant stealth while shadowdanced?

if im out of combat, stealth off cooldown, and in shadowdance, it wont let me stealth until dance wears off… is this a bug?

Same, it is inconvenient. It really messes with the questing speed for trash.

I haven’t tested it but as a work around in case its not a bug, you can always use a cancel macro

Sounds it. What shocks me is how many more bugs there are in retail over classic… I thought Classic was a buggy mess, then I played Shadow Legends and realized that retail is the real mess.

They originally did this to stop an exploit with Shadow Dance and Stealth. If you use Shadow Dance then entered Stealth, you could attack a player without Stealth breaking until Shadow Dance ended.

But, I believe they fixed that. So, I am not sure why it’s still in the game.

I have also noticed this and its really annoying. Report it as a bug so we can get it fixed, I’ll do the same.

Use this place of Stealth on your Shadow Dance bar.
Note: It requires a double tap.

You should also be jumping to your target per the abilities description, thats broken too.

That is only when using the ability out of stealth, shadowdance is technically not stealth so you don’t teleport.

Not what the tool tip states, I understand why though. My god would Sub become the new DH of pvp.

Thats fair. It is written in an ambiguous way. I guess I always just interpreted it as the passive benefits like the damage from nightstalker.

Not sure if you played when it was first put in but thats actually pretty accurate to how it worked in the past. Dance around and cheapshot a whole arena team even though they were in different corners of the arena.
