I cannot stay connected to the game. Sometimes make it to character select and the dc…have gotten in game for about 1-2 min then dc again. When the attack happened I though the issue was on my end and deleted add-on’s and such. rather have to not do that again if it isn’t me. Thanks!!
Deleteing the addons wont fix the issue if its a corrupted ui a proper reset is what recomended
Actually that is everything I did last time only to find out it was a DDoS attack…prefer not to do that again
Then i would folow up in tech support.
I’ve had the issue for hours.
Update…
Logged onto Alliance alt for exp bonus…finally stayed logged in
Logged off to main on Horde on different server
Now back to not being able to stay logged in again…
this is frustrating
Hey there,
Lets go ahead and grab a winMTR so we can further investigate the problem. Here are the instructions:
- Download the tool from this page
- Enter the game IP into the “host” field. The IP address for our games are listed on the winMTR instructions page
- Start the test and play the affected game for at least 15 minutes. Ensure the problem happens while the winMTR tool is running.
- After recording the problem data, click “export text” and save the winMTR file in an easy to find location.
- Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the winMTR. It’ll look like this:

If you have issues pasting here, please use Pastebin and post the link (ex: Pastebin (dot) com/123456).
having same issue. every 8-10 min i dc, cant stay connected
Here’s what I got. Been pretty consistent for the last few hours. It’s the same if I’m wired or wireless, and even attempting to use a hotspot on another network.

Is it a modem and router combined?
Are you wired or wireless?
Have you powercycled the network?
Are you network drivers and firmware up to date?
Have you contacted your ISP?

Happening again tonight. I have restarted router numerous times. It is wired to the comp.

I’m unfortunately a guest at my in-laws house. It’s wireless and a standard wireless gateway (Huawei HG633). Firmware is up to date. I guess I’ll have to spend my quarantine doing something else.
Well, the standard first solution is to turn it off and turn it on again, surely they’d allow that?
Are your wireless drivers up to date?
Hi I pretty much have it nailed down to an ISP problem thanks for the help!!
