Can't Start Siren's Isles

I’m not sure if this is a bug, so not posting it in support yet. But how does one start the new Siren’s Isle content?

Typically, when they release new content, you get the “What’s New!” and get some kind of dialogue with a quest pop-up of some kind with option to accept or start quest. Poof! Then you’re off.

With this recent update, while I received the “What’s New!” I received nothing as far as starting the quest. There’s nothing in my quest log about it either. I did receive some transmogs, no idea why, for Peacebreaker and Honorbound items for HORDE whereas I had logged into my Alliance character (I have a bunch of Horde toons so maybe they’re giving stuff out) as well as some new achievements “Friends of…” related to Dragonflight.

But no Siren’s Isle at all, just nothing.
Is there some kind of pre-req needed before being able to start the Siren’s Isles? I went through the wall of text announcing it’s out but didn’t find anything like “OH YEAH, only is unlocked for players that completed X, Y, Z…”. Nope. Just nothing there. I don’t use AddOns. I tried things like reloadui and logging out/back in, tried different toon. No luck. Was I left behind? :cry:

Anyone else have this issue?
I haven’t seen any other posts about this so hoping mine will help open support for anyone else in the same boat.

You should have an quest in the main building in Dornogal where the city portals are.
If you have not completed the MSQ up to that point I have a feeling it may not show up until you do if that’s the case.

Update: Thanks again! The quest-giver is “Dawn” in Foundation Hall in Dornogal (the main castle in that town), and will have the purple triangle exclamation, and to start a quest called “The Expedition Awaits”.

I was on a toon that hadn’t completed the main story questlines, and it was available, which confirms it’s not required which is great. I hope this helps anyone else who is a bit lost on how to start it. :grinning:

I started it fine on the first character but my max level alts I still have no starter and Dawn isn’t offering anything at the foundation hall :confused:

You only need the starter quest on one character. Any other level 80s you just need to go to the zeppelin and talk to the Captain to take you there.
