As title says. I used my Dragonflight boost on a character that had accepted but not started A Chilling Summons. I boosted her to 60. Quest is now gone from my quest log. There is no Bolvar Fordragon in Orgrimmar or a portal near the keep. Can be teleported by a mage to Oribos but no quests available there and cannot leave Oribos.
Things I have tried:
Logging out and in several times to get the seed quest popup to occur. Does not occur.
Talking to Chromie (she won’t talk to me)
Finishing other quests to see if that might pop a new prompt; does not work.
Looked in portal room in Orgrimmar for Oribos portal; exists but not clickable.
Flew to the top of Icecrown to see if there was something there; no.
Please help lol ): I’d just like to experience the Shadowlands.
If the portals to return to Org/Storm are not there …
NPC between where they should be … RP with them untill you put them there. If you skip the Maw you would not be dead on the ground like you would if you go to the Maw and open the gate.
There are return portals from Oribos to Orgrimmar. I meant there is no way for me to continue from Oribos > any of the Shadowlands zones. I cannot go the Maw because there is no way or path for me to go there.
I cannot start Shadowlands content because there is no questgiver in Orgrimmar to start Shadowlands. I cannot talk to Chromie to be put into Chromie Time, because I am max level. I’m literally at a loss.
I’m in the same boat. Boosted a level 50 character to 60, now I can’t start the Shadowlands content. Can’t use the pads in Oribos to go to the second level after a mage ported me. The room with all the covenant NPCs is empty. Chromie offers no options, the hero board wants me to go to Pandaria (lol?), and the NPCs are not in front of Stormwind keep to port me to Shadowlands. It’s like it doesn’t exist, which is probably the best case scenario lore-wise
LOL but also I did actually find a solution to this! After a bit of scouring, someone suggested party-syncing with a friend who had the quest “A Chilling Summons”. Immediately after partying with them and syncing up to do the quest with them, I also had access to it outside of the party. I’m now able to progress through Shadowlands normally.
