Just made a Goblin Hunter, and I am not getting the quest to start the dragonflight expansion. I have logged off and on, talked to chromie, and even left orgrimmar. Nothing is bringing it up.

Having the same issue after making multiple characters. Just got my friend to start playing after begging him for many years and we immediately get a bug.

Same over here. Wasnât planning to start Dragonflight, but the quest that automatically pops up while in Orgrimmar completely vanished. The NPC in question is also missing.
If you talk to Chromie, she gives you a quest that from what I can tell, is not what you want.

Same here. None of my alts can start the quest. At least one of the already had the quest before the patch, but after the patch, the quest and quest item were gone, and I canât get it back on any character.

All of my characters who had the Black Dragonscale in their inventories and the quest to talk to faction NPC in Keep or Orgimmar no longer have the item or the quest and there is no way to get the seed quest or any quest to Dragon Isles.
Those of my toons who had done the auto pop quest took the two follow up quests still have the two follow up quests, Expedition Coordination and The Obsidian Warders. Those quests remain in the quest logs of those toons.
I notice that DI is now in Chromie time. However, she does not provide a seed quest to start DI.
If you never did the autopop quest, you are now effectively LOCKED OUT of Dragon Isles.
Iâd say back to the drawing board on this one fellas. Give Chromie the power to award the seed quest.
EDIT: TODAY 10/23
When I attempted to TW Dragonflight on my level 13 priest, I got no quest from Chromie. Looking at my quest log/map, the quest log listed the Dragonflight campaign, noting that level 18 was required to start the xpac.
As I have several toons 10-20 who have played DF and can still play DF, this level lockout confused me.
I tried again on a 21 lock but now was told level 28 was required to start the quest.
Then I got on my 40 rogue and again, Chromie gave no quest. Quest log says to go to Valdrakken and take a quest âTo Tyrhold.â This is not a starting zone and To Tyrhold, a quest given by Alexstrazza, is not in any DF starting zone. If my rogue wants to play, she just has to skip 1/2 the expansion.
Canât you just roll this back or are we all going to have to wait till the âanniversaryâ event ends?

Outstanding ticket on this now >24 hours, which was the promised response time. I am not understanding how this is not top priority. This is where new players come in, canât even start, and refund. It needs addressing ASAP.

Same with me. As a returning player since Legion, this is really frustrating that I only have 1 character that is able to effectively go through what seems to be the dev-preferred levelling experience?

trying chromietime DF on a 35 mage, no quest to start the xpac
My whole legacy is old and has done every expansion. I am effectively locked out of progressing to the new expansion because of this, and nothing but dead silence from Bliz. Trouble ticket that claimed would be handled within 24 hours now approaching 36 hours with no response.
Same problem, bought the game so I could play dragonflight, very disappointed.

The quest to start the Argus questline is also bugged. Both quests have been removed from my quest log.
Same with me and my new DH toon. Iâm auto-locked into Legion and canât get to Dragon flight. I also get the shifting âneed to be level X before you can start this campaignâ bug.
ATM Iâm just starting Battle for Azeroth and catching up on what I missed since Legion. Dragonflight is just closed off to me except for my evoker and monk who were already there.

I am having this problem on many of my alts it seems no dragonflight for me

Level 70-80 content is supposed to be done with TWW so if you have TWW, it will send you there as Chromie time now affects DF. Once you are out of chromie time at level 71 you can go back if you want to do anything there

Itâs not starting DF for characters who ARE supposed to be levelling (i.e. characters under 70)
