You can no longer share raid lockouts between alts using the group finder. Not a documented change, so have to assume it's a bug for now.
I'm getting this even with two different accounts. I shared a lockout to another account/character that didn't work. I figured it was a patch issue so I cleared on a new lockout on Char B, shared the lock out to A and stepped out.
Char A cleared what I needed and left party, onto Char C tried to share B's lockout and it was the instance that A had cleared, but B is not saved on which can clearly be seen by the killed bosses on my lockout.

I extended a raid lockout on my usual raid clearing character and was unable to share it. so I ran that character to the raid. upon zoning in it was a full spawned raid, even though in my raid lockout window I have all bosses cleared except 1.
As an experiment I killed the first boss, at which point my raid lockout window reset itself to show that I had only killed 1 boss.
I am extremely upset about this. I am so sick of blizzard bugging old content. stop messing with it! NOBODY goes there except to solo farm stuff anyway. and I bet they wouldn't do that either if things would ever drop. I'm over 500 kills on deathwing now, trying for that F-ing blazing drake. You think i WANT to keep doing that raid? if i ever get it i wouldn't ever go back

Can confirm I'm having the same problem.
extended a raid lockout on one of my characters who killed everything in dragonsoul last week. Raid info says DEFEATED next to every boss. I zone in and what do I find? Full pop of the raid. no bosses dead. Raid info says all defeated as I'm standing there in front of the first boss.
Its like they want to destroy their own game. This patch broke so many things on so many levels. do they want everyone to quit?

Can confirm. I've had a standing raid lockout on MV cleared up to Elegon on one alt that all other alts join group (in turn) to inherit a lockout. The lockout isn't inheriting, even if I create a new one by clearing on another alt and trying to inherit THAT lock.
Farming the star dragon is even less fun and efficient if you have to do a full clear on every toon.

Can confirm Dragonsoul is experiencing this lockout issue at the moment.

I would almost say it was done to bring the raid current as in with scaling mobs do you have any other lockouts that stayed?

Same with me an ToT. Lockout says 5/12 but I zone into new instance.
Paladin's lockout is 5/12 for ToT but i keep zoning into a 6/12 after clearing it with one alt. Thought they might fix it with the second maintenance but I guess not.
I experienced the same problem with my old and new lockouts for ToT and MV. The only lock out I was able to share was Siege of Orgrimmar 12/13 for Garrod, this one worked fine for all my plate wearers.

Tested this again today, and not surprisingly it is still broken. I cannot share raid lockouts with any characters.
Farming mounts is a long tedious process. If this lockout change is something blizzard has done on purpose to "keep me playing and paying longer", it may backfire on them. I simply refuse to full clear a raid 16 times a week. killing the one boss I need 16 times a week is bad enough. if lockouts can't be shared anymore, I'll be done.
If this is an intentional change it's only fair that they let us know. so how about it?

Same exact problem with me as well. Glad to know I'm not the only one in this, as it was pretty frustrating. Lets hope Blizz does something about this soon

Yep. Very frustrating as Blazing Drake is the last mount I need for Awake the Drakes and with 200+ kills between my alts, there is just no way i'm going to run this RP filled raid multiple times a week. Honestly , I'm so discouraged with this bug, that I kinda just want to give up on it.

completely feel your pain here. Blazing Drake is my last one to get hold of the emerald drake as well. I have farmed Deathwing for literal years. I can't stand the amount of scripting involved in this raid and so far beyond sick of it. It helps somewhat to know I'm not alone in the frustration
I wonder if this is a bug or if this was intentional.
Either way, I'm super sad that I have to do all of firelands 8x a week now lel
