Can't see outgoing character whispers

I can see incoming character whispers as well as outgoing and incoming Battle. net whispers. I cannot see outgoing character whispers. They definitely send successfully and people can receive them, but they do not appear in my chatbox.

As far as I know, this only happens on my warlock. My other characters can see outgoing whispers just fine. What’s going on?

The first step I would recommend to troubleshoot this issue is resetting your chat settings:

  1. Right click the “General” tab on your character’s chat box.
  2. Select “Settings” in the selector that shows up
  3. In the chat settings pop up, click the button on the bottom left that says “Chat Defaults”
  4. “Accept”
  5. Click Okay.

If the issue continues we have seen some addons cause conflicts in this area. You can try a full UI reset following the steps Here. Note: If you utilize any addon managers disable them before you start this step and keep them disabled til after retesting.

The “Chat Defaults” thing did not work, but I did the full UI reset as detailed in the link you provided, and it resolved my issue. Thank you very much for your help.
