Can't queue for timewalking dungeons?

hello i may be a bit out of the loop here, but i checked on my lv 50 and there’s no timewalking listed, then i checked on my lv 60 and there’s also no timewalking dungeons option.

I then started the dragonflight’s quests thinking maybe that’s what i need to do but the choice is not there.

I can choose random battle for azeroth or dragonflight dungeons, but theres no timewalking.

anyone else with this issue?

i am 70 and i see them as queue option in the dropdown menu. my ilvl is 392.

I have been able to run them on my main here, and also a level 63 shaman.

I have not yet tried on just a level 60. Let me check real quick for ya.

60+ only, can’t even use for alt leveling anymore…

Yeah, one of my level 60 toons has it in the drop down.

OP - is your level 60 a recently boosted toon or something? Maybe that’s it?

Should have the option at level 60 op. A fresh boosted 60 will have a cooldown though. 24-hour cd I believe before a boosted character can queue. What is really strange is how long it is taking to even get in one. Been sitting in tw dungeon queue for over 20 minutes, and the avg wait time shows 2 minutes lol.

i found another thread and got the answer. We need to be level 60 AND ilv 174 for the option to appear.
I was ilv 171 and as soon as i got another item and went above ilv 174 it appeared.

But it’s sad we can’t use it to level lower alts.

right now I wouldn’t want to take a lower level alt in there. There are some dungeons one shotting tanks because the gear scaling is off.

Level 60 for time walking Lmao what’s even the point. SMH

Due to scaling at leveling 60. Summer want to make you be nothing but cannon fodder

I’ve seen that boosted characters have a cooldown before they can do “old content,” which I assume includes timewalking. Some of my level 60 alts had the queue and some didn’t. If I had to guess, this is my first time logging in since Dragonflight on the ones that are supposed to but don’t. I’ll try again in a day or two, see if it’s there, then.

Just started playing around in retail and I have every class at 50+ … wanted to try to knock some timewalking out to level an alt and found I couldn’t queue.

Appreciate this thread, but it’s still disconcerting in how they’re limiting it to 60+ only. Kind of dumb.

It’s an ilevel issue.

You have to be level 60? What kind of garbage is this?

I don’t believe it is. I believe it’s ilevel. We had a level 60 in group and couldn’t queue because his ilevel was too low. He tried his level 55 and same issue: ilevel not character level.

You have to have a certain ilevel from our experience. It wasn’t about character level.

Has anyone found a 59 or lower who meets the ilvl requirements and can queue?

It was always a fun way to level alts. Now I can’t even do that anymore.

Fair.

But most of my toons were raid geared at the 50 level range, which granted does skip an entire expansion as it’s been so long since I played them.

I guess I’m just used to having access to timewalking to level alts. Returning back to this nonsense is mildly frustrating.

I appreciate the information though. Thank you.

Link to your source.

I now have a level 58 with an ilvl of 179 who does not see timewalking in the dungeon finder. I leveled that character and geared her to test this.

Queueing for timewalking dungeons requires a level 60 and a minimum ilvl.

Level 60 ilvl 193 can queue. Level 60 ilvl 168 cannot.
