Cant play "evil" classes

For some reason I just can’t get into any edge lord “evil” classes. Every time I’ve tried leveling a DK, DH, or lock, I just lose interest so fast. I can’t reconcile in my head being the hero of Azeroth, champion of the light, protector of the innocent, slayer of the old gods, while dipping into the demon juice, or being undead.

Even this priest being shadow I at least justify that I usually end up raiding as holy instead of a voided up shadow. That’s why my favorite classes are pally and priest. I want to be the hero of the light.

I know its silly. I don’t even play on an RP realm anymore (started life on blackwater raiders) But I like being the goody-two-shoes boring always doing whats right and just type of hero.

Anyone have stupid hangups like this that stop you from playing certain classes?

How is being undead evil?

I died fighting for Azeroth, was forced into slavery, was freed from slavery, now continue my never ending vigil to protect Azeroth

Have fun being dead in a few years and thinking you’re the big helper

Not really, no. I’m fairly good at mental gymnastics that I can justify most classes ingame.

The dead should stay dead and are an affront to the light.

Its implied that a lot of undead lose their humanity after turning.

Priests are some of the worst villains out there, in game and real life. Especially when they do things for “the Light”.

I hate DK so much, I can’t even get into the gameplay as I just hate how openly edgy they are

and not like warrior cool edgy, just brooding 14 year old edgy

He doesn’t understand the type of power one uses doesn’t determine if they’re “evil”. DKs didn’t even have a choice and are using the powers of Death for good only to be called an “evil class”.

I’d love to see more Devil May Cry levels of edgy fun.

DKs are more like the DMC reboot. A pizza cutter. All edge and no point.

Its about how you look at it the ends justify the means or a necessary evil.
