Can't pet battle in Panda land

I beat Obalis, turn in The Triumphant Return quest, and then the quest chin just died. Varzok is not offering Battle Pet Tamers: Pandaria. I can’t battle any of the NPC trainers in Pandaria. I’m just stuck. I have every Taming achievement except for Pandaria and I don’t see any way to get it. Is this a bug or am I just missing something.

Just to be sure: you turned in The Triumphant Return on the Horde side right? Because Alliance and Horde pet battle quests have different quest ID’s so you wouldn’t be able to complete on one and then pick up on the other.

Yea. I turned it on horde. Nice idea though. I think it’s a bug.

You still need to do the Northrend and Cata tamers.

Go to Achievements>Pet Battles>Taming Azeroth and you’ll see the progress

He said he was turning in The Triumphant Return, that’s the end of the Cata portion. Also said he had every achievement except Pandaria. :woman_shrugging:

I got nothing.

I had something happen like this, and I had to login on a different toon than the one I turned the quest in on, to pick up the next quest. Then I just logged back in on my other character and proceeded as normal.
