I have reinstalled the game, disabled all addons and I still can’t move in game using my keyboard! Please Help!
Hey, Olphul! Have you tried a full reset on the user interface and tried closing background applications including any security programs temporarily?
If it continues, are you able to use the keyboard for other things like spells? If so, have you tried resetting the keybindings? Do you have a special keyboard and possibly any special software?
My keyboard isn’t special and I have used it a lot for World of Warcraft, I even tried another keyboard. And no, I can not use my keyboard for anything while in game… spells, map, escape, nothing is working.
Thanks, Olphul! Based on it persisting even after changing the keyboard and with other keys, it definitely sounds like either the UI or another program might be interferring. Have you tried the steps mentioned above, yet?
So I just figured out that anytime I plug my usb headset into my cpu, my keyboard won’t work in game. Why would this be?
Good catch! That usually means that there’s some power related issues. Could you try checking that the power options are set to high? I assume this is a desktop keyboard, but just to clarify, is this a laptop keyboard or a desktop keyboard?

Ive had the same keyboard issues. Im fairly sure my issues are related to macros I set up in the Windows Narrative program they seem to be pushing pretty hard. I never knew it would end up taking away my ability to play WOW but Im pretty sure that’s what has happened. The issue is that Narrator has an activation key for a voice to read a book (for instance). I believe my toggle to turn the narrator on and off is a default of Ctrl-CAP Lock–Enter. Guess what? I must have done something with my Insert Key and my Num Lock because those are also gone for the moment. The fact is, all of those buttons have individual meanings to my Key Key bindings but suffice it to say, EVERY single thing I do is off the Number Pad along with the Right Ctrl, Num Lock, Right Shift Key etc. In other words, I have no hope until this gets fixed (thru Windows). I will keep you posted if I find out more.
I’d try also another port cluster and make sure the equipment is directly connected. You may want to disconnect non-essential devices while you troubleshoot.
If you have any headset-specific software, you may want to try unloading it.
We are totally on the same page but I bought the headset last night because I thought it would allow me to type less and maybe do better…The post I did in this thread was sent somehow as I was typing. I believe I hit a capital letter, then Enter and then backspaced and it deleted the reply I was going to send AND posted it 
welcome to my less than ideal circumstances. Oh and my char no longer produces enough DPS to kills 70K creatures in Uldum without a lot of Abyssal Healing Potion…So not sure what I’m gooing to do once Blizzard fixes that for me.
