I can not for the life of me make my mind up on what I’m wanting to main for shadowlands. I have four 120 healers, monk, pally, druid, and priest with my priest being my main for about ever now. Lich King, cata, panda, didn’t play wod, legion, and bfa. There is a big part of me that wants to main a different healer for once at the start of SL but another that says stick with what your use to. Any helpful tips? I know nobody can tell me what to play but something to help me decide would be great. :\

I would personally wait to explore other classes in shadowlands. Some classes have received complete overhauls and play much differently. You never know, you might end up enjoying aff lock more than your current healer. Shadowlands is alt friendly and super easy to level in too.

Honestly you have other max level healers and yet none of them seemed compelling enough for you to change mains.
If you really are on the fence for a new main, pre-patch will be out soon and you can play with the new rotations. My guess is that you’ll be back at priest.

Pretty much this, however I’d say it depends on what you’re looking for in a healer as well. Like personally I can’t stand resto druid at all, like I HATE playing it and it’s the only healer I hate playing. But I just don’t like relying mostly on HoTs for healing. Holy pally is alright but I don’t like being in melee range as often as they need to be and I really don’t like their mastery because of it.
So what I like and what someone else likes will be totally different. My favorite healer the last few expansions has been Resto Shaman and MW but even though MW is fun, again melee dpsing and I feel like they don’t have many tools that you’d expect most healers to have. Yeah they have a lot of cc but a sometimes unreliable raid CD.
But yeah I’d definitely wait to test out some of the pre-patch changes or even just hop on PTR and check them out before hand. You could always level your priest and another healer you’re really interested in come Shadowlands and see which you seem to be liking more. Not sure if you’re planning on raiding right away so not sure if you’ll have time for that but it’s another option.
i think you should get more things leveled up to 120 and try them out, lots of classes have had some big changes like lock, sham, dk, etc
Yeah, fair point guys. I’m gonna need to see how they play when that pre patch comes out. I do like the changes I’ve read about with disc priest. Sounds interesting to get several of those abilities base lined. As far as dps goes. I really enjoyed my warlock but I never finished leveling it. Also I can’t stand the que time for dps haha.
I like the holy playstyle, and I have used it for years and several xpacks. My friends are not to happy, and want me to play druid. I say play what you have enjoyed up to this point.

Hah im in the same boat but with range dps with mage lock spreist or stay hunter for mobility. I cannot decide either but I guess will test each in pre patch for a few weeks to find what I enjoy most.

Try out Shaman. If it’s not fun go back to Priest.
If none of the other healers prompted you to change mains, they won’t in SL either.

Have we heard when the pre patch was gonna hit yet? I’m hoping during the next maintenance which I believe are usually one Tuesday right?
Nope. Going to be October is my best guess.
Pretty much the only guess at this point unless they “surprise” us and release it Tuesday which is highly unlikely.
It’s funny. I’ve been playing my mage all day and I was thinking to myself that I may main it at the start of SL but now since I’ve played on it all day I’ve already gotten a bit bored of it and will probably stick with my priest. I’m hopeless xD.
