I logged out of my warrior, it disconnected me from the game and I can no longer log in.
My friends see me still online on my Warrior but I can’t log into the game. I keep being told I can’t log in with that info.

Fix your game and get someone to reword your error prompts.

Out of curiosity, are people seeing this also using the beta launcher? Or it is on the live one as well?
Live for me.
I’m seeing it on the live one. I have been crashing inbetween character changes for the past 2 hours but this is the first time I haven’t been able to log in. I get the error after it goes to “retrieving realm list”

I’m getting this as well, but only on my main account and only in retail. On my main account I can log into Beta, PTR, and Classic - but NOT retail. On my WoW1 account I can log into Retail, same with Wow2.
(beta launcher here, but same happens logging directly in via the log in screen as well)
Same error with retail. I was getting kicked back to the login screen when I tried changing characters, then login failures at retrieving realms.
Classic logged in fine.
Same, I just posted a thread as well because I did not see anyone else with the same post yet, this is quite frustrating. I was in the game perfectly fine forever. Make a new alt and tried to set up looms and now I can’t even log in

I’m running game repair now to save time when they suggest it
I don’t think it’s a file issue if a lot more people keep experiencing this. This started happening to me before a 42mb patch/update went out. So whatever files I just downloaded into my WoW folder came after this problem started happening.
Same but the last post I saw on Twitter CS said they didnt see any server issues and suggested it so I was just saving some time lol
My friend says I’m still logged into retail on my main account, which i’m obviously not. So looks like our characters may be stuck in limbo where server thinks they are in game, but they really aren’t.
My friends just noted that I am apparently still logged into my warlock, which I am not.
Can confirm, just asked in my discord and they said my mage is currently online. Haven’t been able to log back on in 30+ minutes now but my mage still shows being online.
I found where they said on twitter there was nothing wrong. Told them they were incorrect and gave them the link to this thread.
Edit: They are now going to pass the report along. Yay?
If only the forums were as useful as twitter…

I’m having this issue on retail. I can log into Beta and PTR with no issues.
I guess I’m trying out classic until we get a blue post
