No, he’s right. Streamers have been playing online pretty much the whole time. I was watching some.
But to be fair, this isn’t some kind of streamer privilege. There are quite a few people online. There are members in my guild in Classic that have been happily playing this whole time. This has something to do with the log-in servers I think and anyone that wasn’t online before they were taken down, can’t log in, but others that were in, could stay in.
Have you thought about being a streamer? Apparently word on the street is they get special access and treatment from blizz to get into the game sooner/easier.

I’ve been unable to play since Sept 7, 2019. All i get is error 51900328 you have been disconnected from the server before it even gets to my character list. It’s 12:55 pm CST right now and I am still unable to play because of this error.
It’s probably your firewall. There’s one built in to Windows, and many suites of security software have their own. First, check Blizzard’s guide below, though the process will be different if you have a third party firewall, such as Norton.
