Can't log in to wow and wow classic unless I remove authenticator

can’t log in to wow or wow classic unless I remove my authenticator from my account. yes, I am launching from the battle.net app, no I am not using the exe files to launch. when I launch with an authenticator, it hangs on the connecting window, and then dc’s me with the WOW51900314 error. If I remove my authenticator, works fine. also with or without the authenticator, I can log in to overwatch no problem. this is solely wow

The info I see mentions this only happens if the Battle.net application is bypassed and the account has an authenticator attached. The workaround is to launch via the Battle.net application, using a manual code to log in, or remove the authenticator. @Arzon I’m having exactly the same problem. To add to this, I have a second account that uses the same authenticator and works perfectly fine.

Also, I have three different devices that can run WOW and the behavior is exactly the same across all 3 (2 of them hadn’t ran wow in over a year so unlikely to be a cache thing on my end)

My authenticator issues were fixed for a couple of days, and now it’s right back to being broken again. same error being thrown…
