Sorry if this is a stupid question, but when did they stop letting you be able to log in from the ingame login? like how you logged in in 2004? Whenever i try it just says “you have been disconnected”
So is the only way to log in is from battle.net? or is this just a bug? It’s been like this for a long time
You can only log in from Battle.net
May have been a temp bnet or personal internet issue, just tried from a fresh login and it worked. Did a fresh wow.exe launch from the era folder and logged in manually typing it in. The only time I have your issue is if I get disconnected sometimes I have to restart the client to get back in.

Bug, temporary something to be fixed on next update from Blizz, from your internet provider, from who knows where. I launch WoW from a desktop shortcut, and have done so since 2006 where I began playing.
oh wow so i guess it wasn’t just a hcange they made. That’s how i used to log in as well but i haven’t been able to for years
