Can't Link Authenticator

My authenticator auto de-linked a long time ago. I’m trying to link it again through the Battle.net app on my phone. The app prompts me to log into my account through the app but I keep getting a ‘We couldn’t verify your account with that information’ error when I try to log in. I can log into the forums and the computer battle net client just fine.

The authenticators have been unsupported for a while now. The battle net app does the authentication now

I am trying to use the Battle.net app. Not the old authenticator app.

I would try resetting your password to see if that fixes your issue. Password reset can clear the stored info server side

How are you logging into the phone app? Are you typing in the login or password, or using autofill? My only thought is the autofill is pulling in outdated information, if you are using the same email/password between website and phone.

Try uninstalling the bnet app from your phone completely, and start with a fresh install.

Otherwise you are probably needing assistance from billing through the support system, they can provide more help then a player based forum can.
