Can't learn Journeyman Tailoring

No trainer will teach me Journeyman Tailoring. It doesn’t even show up as an option.

The Tailor Trainer in Mage Quarter in Duncan’s Textiles trained me for Tailoring

I went to him and it’s not an option. It’s bugged or something for me. I’ll link a picture of it when I get home.

Try going to a different trainer. The one in stormwind wouldn’t teach me, kept saying I needed to train more before he’d teach me but the tailoring trainer in Darnassus did. I imagine its a bug, but it worked for now anyway.

Go to this guy: Sellandusis located at the Mage Quarter in Stormwind inside of the building Larson Clothiers.

Hm. So it seems it has to be an expert trainer but there’s no way that’s how it was intended. I got it though. Thanks.

So I believe this actually is the way it was intended to be so it’s not a bug, but it is confusing so I’ll leave the thread up in case it helps anybody else.

The tailoring trainer in Ironforge will give you journeyman tailoring.

Go to the Journeyman Tailor…

There are also level requirements for each level of Tailoring.

The Journeyman Tailors would not teach it to me even though I met all the requirements.

I had this problem and I had to find the Expert Tailor to learn journeyman

This is still the same - ran all the way to the “Journeyman” trainer in Elwood Forest and no good!
Went to the one in Stormwind mage quarter same same …

Same issue still. The one in IF taught me.

You need an “expert” tailor to train Journeyman. Also different professional tiers are level-locked.

All of the crafting professions worked this way in Vanilla – the gathering professions are different. You’ll level up to the 225 mark via progressively higher trainers, then to go past 225 there is a character level requirement. 35 Generally before you can train to 300.

Also, if you look on the trainers dialog when you click for training… it will generally tell you where you need to go if that trainer is at max capability.
